Accounting · What we do

Outsourced accounting for companies that outgrow their bookkeeper.

We run the accounting function — monthly close, financial statements, and the AP and AR that sit underneath them — with a U.S.-based team and CPA review before anything reaches you.

01 / Why Vornoy

A team that already knows your business.

Not a rotating pool of generalists. Controllers who have closed books in your industry, and CPAs on hand when it gets complicated.

Industry-specific knowledge

We work across food and beverage, fashion and apparel, beauty and wellness, consumer goods, and restaurants and hospitality — so your chart of accounts, margin structure, and reporting reflect how your business actually operates, not a generic template.

A U.S.-based team, with CPA oversight

Your day-to-day accounting is handled by an experienced U.S.-based team, and a U.S.-based controller reviews your financials before they reach you. When something genuinely complex comes up, there's a CPA on hand who has seen it before.

One function, not a task list

You get a team that owns the whole accounting function end to end — reachable, quick to respond, and close enough to your numbers to flag a problem while it's still small. Not a ticket queue, not another vendor to manage.

02 / What's included

The entire accounting function, off your plate.

Everything below is standard in our engagements, not an add-on to discover later.

Monthly close, reviewed before you see it

Reconciled, categorized, and closed on a schedule you can plan around — with financial statements a controller has looked at, not a raw export from the ledger.

AP and AR we actually run

Bills get paid and invoices get collected because we’re doing it, not because we reminded you to. The difference between recording a transaction and owning a process.

  • Monthly close and reconciliation
  • Financial statement package, reviewed by experienced controllers
  • Chart of accounts structured for how you actually operate
  • Accounts payable — vendor management and bill pay
  • Accounts receivable and collections
  • Sales tax tracked in your books
  • We manage payroll
  • Accounting systems built, configured, and maintained for you
  • CPAs on hand for the complicated situations

03 / Scope

Where Accounting ends and Finance begins.

Most clients end up working with us on both. We keep them as separate lines so you always know what you’re buying.

Accounting

Keeping your financials accurate

  • Monthly close and reconciliation
  • Financial statements prepared by experts
  • Accounts payable and bill pay
  • Accounts receivable and collections
  • Chart of accounts and accounting systems
  • Books that are accurate, current, and ready to be used

Finance

Guiding your financials to where you want them

  • Forecasting and scenario planning
  • Cash flow analysis and runway
  • KPI reporting and dashboards
  • Margin analysis by product, channel, and customer
  • Three-statement models and board reporting
  • Capital strategy and fundraise preparation

The short version: Accounting makes numbers right. Finance decides what to do with them.

04 / The stack

Built on tools you already trust.

We build, configure, and administer the accounting systems your business runs on — QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and the integrations around them. The subscriptions stay in your name. The work of keeping them clean is ours.

05 / Common questions

The questions we get on the first call.

Straight answers, so you can decide whether it’s worth booking one.

How is this different from a bookkeeper?

A bookkeeper just records what happened. We run the function: categorize and close the month, produce financial statements, pay your bills, chase your receivables, and maintain the systems it all runs on. If your current setup means someone on your team is still doing the parts a bookkeeper doesn't cover, we fill that gap.

Do we still need a controller?

Most of our clients are at the point where they've outgrown a bookkeeper but can't justify a full-time, salaried controller. That's the gap this is built for. If you already have a controller, we typically work with them rather than replacing them.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on transaction volume, entity count, and how much of AP and AR you want us running. We'll give you a number after one call, not after a three-week discovery process.

Let’s talk

Let’s see if we’re a fit.

Schedule time to meet our team. We want to hear about your business: where it is today, where you want to take it, and what’s slowing you down. If we see an opportunity to help, we’ll come back with a clear plan and a statement of work to match.
